At the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, a classroom (2L year) has recently been converted into an acoustics class thanks to full sponsorship by Admonter Holzindustrie AG.
The first step was an on-site measurement of the prevailing room acoustic properties of the classroom, specifically in the form of its reverberation times. A simulation calculation based on this measurement data provided the absorber sizes required for acoustic optimization and their positioning in the room. Based on these plans, two types of acoustic elements were then installed on the ceiling and one wall of the classroom by carpenters from Admonter Holzindustrie AG during the summer vacation.
Admonter also offers an acoustic calculation tool online free of charge. This can be used to carry out a preliminary dimensioning for the acoustic optimization of a wide variety of room situations. https://service.admonter.at/raumakustik/de.html
These innovative products developed by Admonter have made it possible to create both an exceptional room acoustic and a more pleasant visual climate. As a natural building material, wood can be used to specifically influence the acoustic behavior of rooms.
Admonter acoustic products are not only available in different types of wood and color variations, but also with different structures, thicknesses and grades – tailored to your needs and made to measure.
In order to find new skilled workers and create training opportunities, Admonter Holzindustrie and HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein have also agreed to cooperate in the field of training/traineeships. In addition to excursions, there will also be diploma theses in the specialized wood processing sector.
