Natural oils that are applied to the wood and also penetrate the wood provide long-term protection for your natural product. Oiled floors are easy to clean and maintain, have an antibacterial effect, can be partially repaired and refreshed, regulate the room climate and are warmer than varnished floors due to direct contact with the wood.
With varnished floors, the wood is sealed on the surface. This surface offers protection against dirt with little cleaning effort. However, repairing damage or scratches in places is not possible, and refreshing is also not possible. Varnished floors are colder due to the surface layer that lies on top of the wood.
You can find the advantages of a natural oiled surface, a comparison of our surface systems and a video on the liquid test here.

Mix Admonter Clean Care and water and wipe with a damp cloth. This applies to both natural oiled and matt lacquered floors. You can find the exact dosage and cleaning tips in our installation and care instructions. From time to time we recommend re-oiling/refreshing your natural oiled parquet floor with Admonter care oil. Re-oiling/refreshing matt painted surfaces is not possible.
In general, when it comes to caring for your Admonter, it can be said that sweeping and vacuuming are usually enough. If you mop, use water and Clean Care according to our care instructions and, if necessary, re-oil the natural oiled floor with our care oil.
Please pay attention to the optimal room climate (30-65% humidity), especially during the heating season. Your health and your soil will thank you.

That depends on how heavily it is used. As soon as your parquet appears gray and/or dull or depending on the wear and tear, we recommend cleaning it approximately every 1-2 weeks and, for natural oiled floors, oil treatment every 12-24 months. Daily mopping is not recommended, as frequent mopping dries out the floor and therefore requires more frequent oiling/adding moisture through oiling.
The different structures on Admonter parquet floors best convey the natural product of wood, as they are perceived as pleasant and natural when barefoot. The following applies to all structures: additional pore protection and improved scratch resistance of the oil surface ensure that cleaning effort remains low in the future. Our natural oiled Easy Care surface is an easy-care surface and is ready to live in after it has been laid and cleaned for the First time. Matt lacquered floors are sealed; cleaning with CleanCare and water is sufficient.
Regular care with our Admonter Clean Care and re-oiling with Admonter care oil from time to time ensure that your natural oiled floor stays beautiful for a long time. It is generally important to always wipe in the direction of the grain.

We recommend our repair oils for natural oiled floors. Minor damage can be repaired by applying it with a brush. (Be sure to test on a sample before use and wait for the repair oil to dry). Larger scratches/damage can only be repaired by replacing the floorboards. Matt lacquered floors cannot be repaired; replacing the floorboards is also recommended here. In this case, please contact an Admonter showroom partner in your area.

The following applies here: wipe away the stain immediately. Then clean with Admonter Clean Care and water (do not scrub the stain away, otherwise light stains may form that will remain visible later). If necessary, re-oil with the appropriate care oil. Grease spatters should usually disappear over time or can be alleviated by treatment. If there are any problems, please contact our service team directly and arrange an appointment for inspection/resolution: service@admonter.at

We have the following tips for this:
1st step: if you notice the mishap, it is best to wipe up the liquid immediately. Please do not use a rough surface, but rather a soft cotton cloth or a normal rag. This will prevent the surface from roughening.
2nd step: if the natural oiled parquet floor has become more damaged, you can treat the floor surface with Admonter Clean Care after wiping it up. To do this, mix the Clean Care with the prescribed mixing ratio (approx. 10l warm water with approx. 100ml Clean Care), pour it over the stain, allow it to take effect for a while and then wipe it away with the grain of the natural wood floor. Repeat if necessary.

It is in the nature of things that wood changes due to UV light/solar radiation. Depending on the intensity of the sunlight, light woods become darker and dark woods become lighter. This effect is most intense in the First three to six months after installation.
Please do not place any carpets or the like on the new parquet floor for the time being. Otherwise you would exclude certain areas from the uniform, natural color change.

Admonter parquet floors are ideal for use on underfloor heating systems (designed according to DIN EN 1264 series). Due to the improved heat transfer and minimal joint formation, full-surface bonding with Admonter Elastic parquet adhesive has proven to be the ideal installation system. In principle, hot water, low-temperature underfloor heating systems are recommended 29°C as the limit value of the surface temperature according to DIN EN 1264 (series) and ÖNORM B 2242 also in the edge zones must not be exceeded.
Installation on underfloor cooling systems is also possible.

Wood is a living material and adapts to its surroundings. It absorbs moisture when the air humidity in the room is high and releases it again when the air humidity in the room is too dry. Wood therefore has a humidity-regulating effect and thus contributes to a pleasant indoor climate.
The ideal humidity should be between 30% and 65%. This can be measured with a hygrometer. The room temperature also influences the humidity.
If the humidity in the room is too low, electric humidifiers or houseplants can help increase the humidity over a longer period of time.
You can find the ideal interaction between humidity and room temperature in our comfort diagram.
In order to minimize joint formation during the heating period, particular attention must be paid to compliance with climate requirements. The natural material wood absorbs moisture and releases moisture again. Our products therefore contribute to human health. Humidifiers, proper ventilation (shock ventilation), green plants or even small fountains help to keep the room climate in the optimal range, although regular monitoring using a hygrometer is necessary. Moisture recovery systems in ventilation systems are also possible.

The literal classic plank from Admonter in lengths from 1850 to 2400 mm.
An expansion joint can be seen on doors, predetermined breaking points in screed, columns, etc. and is used to allow the natural floor to expand and contract again depending on the temperature and humidity. Expansion joints are the responsibility of a floor installer and should under no circumstances be implemented by laypeople.
The bevel is a beveled surface created on the edges of the planks. The bevel highlights and emphasizes each plank individually, depending on the bevel thickness.
Ready-made parquet is the name given to industrially manufactured, surface-treated floor elements made of wood, which are usually provided with a profile, are connected to one another by gluing (tongue and groove) or locking (lock-it) and do not require any basic treatment such as sanding or filling after installation.
Laying an Admonter natural floor on underfloor heating is generally not a problem. However, in order to achieve optimal thermal conductivity, the specifications in the installation and care instructions must be observed. All Admonter natural floors are suitable for laying on underfloor heating.
Many laminate floors imitate the look of a high-quality floor covering (usually parquet), but consist of an inexpensive carrier layer that is decorated and sealed with a thin decorative layer. Such a floor is very inexpensive and easy to install (compared to parquet or high-quality tiles, for example). However, all laminate floors have one disadvantage in common: if the surface is damaged or worn, they cannot be renovated or sanded like a wooden floor, as the carrier material would immediately be exposed underneath the decorative layer.
As the name suggests, solid parquet consists of a solid, continuous layer of wood. However, this traditional type of parquet is not entirely problem-free, as it tends to warp significantly more than multi-layer parquet under fluctuating temperature and humidity conditions.
Multi-layer parquet is more durable than solid parquet in fluctuating room conditions, as several layers compensate for moisture and room temperature differences and stabilize the floor. There are both 2-layer parquet and 3-layer parquet. With 2-layer parquet, a top layer of the desired type of wood is glued to a carrier layer. With 3-layer parquet, the top layer is glued to a transverse middle layer often made of softwood and a back made either of the same type of wood as the top layer or also made of softwood.
2-strip, 3-strip floors: A multi-strip floor is also in plank format. In contrast to the country house plank, the top layer here is not made from one piece of wood, but from many small wooden sticks. For this reason, multi-strip flooring is comparatively cheaper than wide plank flooring.
With floating installation, tongue and groove are glued together or Admonter lock-it variants are locked, but not glued to the substrate. The advantages here are quick installation, little to no joint formation and little sound-conducting contact with the structure.
Here the planks are glued to the subsurface over the entire surface. This installation variant is recommended for underfloor heating, for installation in bathrooms and generally in commercial areas. The advantages are that larger areas can be laid in one piece, there can be less bulging when laying on underfloor heating and renovation is made easier by sanding.
With lengths from 590 mm to 1200 mm. Suitable for herringbone laying with the smallest rod up to a plank look for small rooms with a big impact.
For large rooms and an extra big effect. Planks up to 2800 mm long. Dimension: 15 x 280 mm.
For large rooms and an extra big effect. Planks up to 5000 mm long.
The planing combined with strong brushing across the grain gives the wood a special character.
3D brushed and with additional signs of aging. V-groove. This results in brand new floors with the engaging patina of decades. And on top of that it has the advantage of being particularly robust and hard-wearing
Here every branch has its purpose. Waves, depressions, curvatures and different top layer thicknesses in the plank offer a varied surface.
This structure is not only particularly expressive, the embossing also gives the floor up to +25% higher indentation resistance (hardness) compared to a ground surface.
The natural surface treatment using a plane creates an individual but natural look in which every irregularity is deliberately highlighted.
A strong longitudinal and transverse brushing makes the floor or plate tangible and also gives it an attractive appearance.
Softer wooden parts are brushed out. This gives the floor a structured surface. The pure sensuality of wood can be seen and felt in a unique way.
Nostalgic looks meet contemporary implementation – the chopped plates are a true inspiration. No wonder they do more than just decorate walls.
By planing in the direction of the grain, a special wave is created, which leads to a particularly noticeable experience of the natural wood floor or the natural wood panel.
The standard for natural wood floors for many years. The surface appears elegant due to the cut, the wood is completely flat and depressions are leveled out.
The strong brushing allows the shape of the structure to shine through more clearly or more discreetly, depending on the light. You can feel the intense grain and that gives this structure its clear, characteristic appearance.
Is an intensive partial cross-brushing that gives the plank a particularly characterful look and feel. For each plank, the brushing is located on the edge, in the middle or over the entire surface – the mix creates the special appearance of this structure when laid.
The grading describes typical characteristics (e.g. knots, cracks, etc.) of the natural material wood and divides them into different classes according to number, occurrence and size. Admonter natural floors are available in knotless (noblesse), knotless (elegance), knotty (basic), rustico with brown putty (naturelle) and rustic with black putty (rustic) grading.
NATURALLY OILED EASY CARE – NO INITIAL CARE NECESSARY!
All EASY-CARE surfaces are always delivered PREPARED and therefore already have a very high resistance to dirt at the factory. The mechanical resilience is regularly tested in-house, which ensures suitability for the object. The EASY-CARE surface offers a high level of process reliability and color consistency and has high mechanical resilience. Initial care is NO longer necessary, ongoing maintenance MUST be carried out according to the demands! The natural oil easy care consists of sustainable raw materials. The oils used for the Easy Care surface are natural oils in accordance with ÖNORM C 2380:2008, point 4. (In order to achieve optimal bevel protection, Chevron products must be treated after installation.)

FACTORY READY TO GO NATURAL OIL – NO INITIAL CARE REQUIRED
All PRO CARE PLUS surfaces are oxidatively hardened and initially treated at the factory. Initial care is no longer necessary. Regular care with Admonter Clean Care and Admonter care oil creates a natural patina that ensures good resistance. For heavily used areas (e.g. kitchen, bathroom, vestibules, etc.) we recommend additional care on site
after the transfer.
Matt lacquered is the best choice if you want a practically “maintenance-free” natural floor. The painted surface makes the floorboards appear discreetly matt. The pores of the wood are closed, making the planks extremely durable and completely easy to care for. The disadvantage is that a partial repair is not possible and the entire surface must be sanded.
Colours, tastes and furnishing styles are as different as people and their needs. We also offer the option of individual surfaces for the design and implementation of your projects.
Untreated.
The traditional French and Hungarian herringbone pattern is the design highlight when it comes to bringing elegance to smaller and larger rooms. The natural beauty of the wood is particularly effective here and contributes to the classic look without ever appearing boring.
Practical to use, diverse in designs and types of wood, the herringbone is perfect for laying on small and large areas.
A wide plank is a wooden floor in plank format that is either solid or has a multi-layer structure. The wide plank is one of the most original types of parquet.
