The handyman bonus is a government grant for private individuals that helps you to reduce the cost of handyman work in your home. From July 15, 2024, you will have the opportunity to receive a refund of 20% of the labor costs for craft services performed between March 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025.

The craftsman bonus therefore applies retroactively from March 1, 2024! This means that you can benefit from the subsidy even if you have already used the installation or laying service from Querschnitt – the project specialists from Admonter – this year.

Floor laying: Save 20% on installation costs and enjoy the professional work of our floor layers.
Installation work: Take advantage of the craftsman bonus for the installation of acoustic ceilings, wall paneling or custom-made built-in furniture.

Good to know:

Subsidy amount: The subsidy amounts to 20% of the tradesman’s costs, with a minimum subsidy of € 50. In 2024, the maximum subsidy amount is € 2,000 per person and residential property, in 2025 a maximum of € 1,500.
Invoice amount: The costs for the pure work performance must be shown separately on the invoice and amount to at least € 250 net in order to be able to apply for the bonus. The maximum amount is therefore limited to costs of € 10,000 (2024) or € 7,500 (2025). Material costs and travel expenses are not eligible for funding.
One application per person and year: Each adult household member can only submit one application for the craftsmen’s bonus per calendar year at the registered address of residence, but several invoices can be submitted together. The subsidy can be applied for the main or secondary residence, but all applications must be submitted for the same residence.
Multiple use per household possible: If the invoices claimed by a household tenant fall below the maximum subsidy amount of € 2,000 (2024) or € 1,500 (2025), persons of legal age from the same household can apply for further subsidies until the maximum amount for the residential property is reached.
Validity: The bonus applies to manual work carried out between 01.03.2024 and 31.12.2025 and can also be applied for retroactively from July 15, 2024.
