Where do long floorboards fit?

It is important that you consider the size of the room in which the parquet is to be laid. Large rooms in particular offer XXL planks the space to really come into their own. Long, wide planks look wonderful here and give your home a royal touch (large planks were particularly popular in manor houses and castles).

Important information on installation:

• If you lay floorboards parallel to long walls, they make a room look longer.
• If you want to make the room look wider, lay the planks across the length of the room.

It is also important to consider the incidence of light before laying. Depending on how the daylight shines into the room, it either emphasizes or neglects the grain. Admonter planks in XXL format are between 3.5 and 5.0 meters long. If you want something particularly unusual, planks up to 8 meters long are available on request. The varying widths of the planks also offer additional options. The widths range from 19.2 cm to 32.5 cm. There is a good reason for this wide selection: different widths and lengths laid together give rooms the visual impression of centuries-old floorboards, creating a very special flair. And with the added advantage of being particularly hard-wearing and durable.
